Meet Laura Morgaine of Denton Belly Dance

 I fell in love with belly dance in 2002, and after more than twenty years of training and performing, the heart of this art still feels just as magical as the first time I stepped into a studio. Belly dance has given me so much - confidence, resilience, creativity, community, and joy — and now I’m passionate about sharing those gifts with the Denton community.

As the founder and instructor of Denton Belly Dance, I offer accessible, beginner-friendly classes that welcome all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and technique-focused, helping new dancers discover how empowering and fun this art truly is. Belly dance is for every body, and my mission is to make the experience joyful, welcoming, and culturally respectful.

I also bring professional performances to celebrations across North Texas, including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, girls’ nights, and special gatherings. My shows are interactive, elegant, and full of energy — designed to create unforgettable memories for you and your guests.
